Introducing… Nodo Watch!

I just released Nodo Watch on both the Apple and Android App stores. I wanted some way for schools to communicate quickly in case of an emergency and I think I’ve got a great start at that goal. You’ll be able to send alerts for the main reasons- weather, active shooter for example, but also you can send custom alerts just as easy. Alerts send through both SMS and email for all registered users. We also can add your local police department to get the notification as well. In testing, I’ve seen where some schools have decided not to so that’s a decision that the districts can make for their situation.
But that’s not all, you can also see who are your current visitors and what their reason is for being there! So if you see a stranger roaming the playground, you can check and see if he signed in to go to the playground for repairs.
Some notes:
- -This is only for schools already with Nodo Tech. If you’re interested, I’d love to give a demo to your school. Just give me a call/email.
- -This is intended for faculty and educators and not parents of students. This app is to be used to send alerts internally so that’s why the restriction is in place.
